Dear friends,
I am glad that all of you ended up in good schools. It's been my greatest pleasure to be your teacher. Teaching you has enriched my life, and made me a better teacher. Like I have said, you have taught me more than I can ever teach you.
In just 2 more days, you will be embarking on a new chapter of your life. You will be going to your respective secondary schools. No doubt it is going to be difficult, but I have faith in you, and I am sure you will be able to pull through.
Chinese is never an easy subject to master. It'll be tougher in your secondary school, and probably to some of you, more unbearable. But there is something you have always know. That being a Chinese, mastering the culture and language is a responsibility. It's never easy, but please don't give up. I don't want your love and desire to master the language(like John, Eesong and WeiLiang) to end with your primary school life.
Always remember how I taught you the language in class since you were a cute P5 kid. Learn it the smart way. Don't memorise. Forget copying answers for corrections. Like Maths, there is a formula, and a way to tackle the questions. To develop further, you don't have to look far. Read more comics, watch more Chinese serials, listen to more songs(like Shawn).
Lastly, I hope you will remember your wonderful primary school days. The fun times we shared, and all the laughter in class. Next time you listen to 造句 in class, remember "小智". :)
I really love all of you. I will miss everyone of you.
All the best.
Cheers,
Kaishi
